Enter our Irix Photo testers competition!

You can be one of the first to test the new Irix 150mm macro lens! As we were preparing the new Irix 150mm f/2.8 macro lens for general sale, the Irix team came up with the wonderful idea of organizing an additional activity for the amateur photographic community. So before making it generally available, Irix has decided to invite all photo enthusiasts to take part in our competition and to become Irix 150mm lens testers! But what do you have to do to get that opportunity to try out this lens as one of the first photographers to use it before it hits the shops?  

Well, to begin with you should love macro photography! You have to feel it, and have stacks of ideas on how to take original photographs with such kinds of lenses.

Second, you should have the experience! Show us your three best macro photos so that we know you’ve spent some time developing your skills in macro photography. 

Third, be confident. You should be really proud of your work to have them presented publicly!

In order to take part in the competition, create a post (on one or more social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) with three chosen macro photos taken by you, and tag it with the hashtag #irixmacrocompetition

But there’s not much time! You’ll have to get those applications in as soon as you can as entries close at the end of the 22nd November 2018!

FIVE chosen winners will be able to get their hands on the Irix 150mm macro for FREE for ONE MONTH of testing!

The winners will be announced on the 26th November 2018.
