Our 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens has received the iF DESIGN 2019 award!
We are proud to announce that one of the world-famous iF Design Awards has gone to Irix! Our 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens has received the award in the TV/Camera category, in the Product section.
The iF Design Award is one of the most well-known and important design competitions in the world, and is organized by the iF International Forum Design GmbH, an independent organization based in Hannover, Germany.
Every year, the best projects are selected in several categories, and the winners receive an iF certificate, which is recognized as a sign of project excellence. This year, 6,375 applications from 52 countries were registered in the competition.
The Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 lens has been recognized by a jury of 67 independent design experts from around the world for its unique design, optical performance and functionality. Such a victory is made even more pleasing because the Irix brand was especially created by an international group of photographers, engineers, enthusiasts, and industry specialists.
The results of this cooperation are not only producing functional lense, but also having the highest quality design.
This award is a confirmation of our visions, values and goals that have guided us while creating the lens from its original idea to the final result. We have always wanted the lens to be world-class ever since the beginning. That’s why all of the Irix Team is very happy and we really appreciate the iF Design prize.
