Irix Edge MMS Drop-in Black Mist 1/2 Filter is a professional effects filter created specifically for use with the PL-Mount to Sony E-Mount adapter equipped with the magnetic MMS Drop-In filter system.

The Black Mist 1/2 version gives the image a more cinematic character, gently softens intense highlights, subtly reduces the digital sharpness of the image, and helps achieve more pleasing, more organic tonal transitions. This effect is especially valued in portraits, beauty shots, and night scenes with point light sources.
