Irix Edge MMS Drop-in CPL Filter is a professional polarizing filter created specifically for use with the PL-Mount to Sony E-Mount adapter equipped with the magnetic MMS Drop-In filter system.

The filter effectively reduces unwanted reflections and glare on non-metallic surfaces, improves color saturation, and increases control over the image character. This is especially useful when filming glass, water, painted surfaces, the sky, or architectural elements.

Unlike classic front filters, this model was designed as part of the MMS Drop-In system, making it compact, quick to use, and perfectly suited for work on set. The polarization effect is adjusted conveniently using the dial in the adapter.

This is a dedicated filter developed specifically for the Irix PL-Mount to Sony E-Mount adapter with the MMS Drop-In system. It is not a standard filter from the earlier MMS system mounted directly to the lens.
