Irix Edge Soft
The Irix Edge Soft Gradual Filter allows obtaining a natural tonality of the image when shooting scenes with irregular horizons such as forests and mountainous areas, as well as urban scenes.
The Irix Edge Soft Gradual Filter is a filter in which the gradient is extended – that is, there is a long transition between full transparency and maximum density (about one-third of the filter height). Thanks to this feature, we can obtain a natural tonality of the image when shooting scenes with irregular horizons such as forests and mountainous areas, as well as urban scenes. Its main use is to dim the area of the frame with the sky (naturally the brightest part of the image) which obscures the densest part of the filter, while the gradient covers the irregular horizon line.

Irix Edge Soft Graduated is a type of filter which reduces an amount of light reaches the camera sensor in a specific area. This kind of filter is irreplaceable every time when photographing the urban or mountain landscape with an invisible horizon line, allowing spectacular effects without using the HDR effect.
Irix Edge filters are characterised by the highest precision and optical quality to be able to meet the image quality generated by high resolution camera sensors. Both surfaces of the glass filter are covered by the multilayer antireflex and water/oil-proof coating providing high light transmission and natural colours in any weather conditions.
