Irix 150mm f / 2.8 Macro 1: 1 – first independent review!

We are very pleased to announce that today the first review of the Irix 150mm f/2.8 1:Macro lens has been published on the ephotozine portal, and which attracts approximately 1.5 million readers every month.

The portal has gained recognition through its reliable tests, checking not only the quality of the optics and the construction of the lens, but also for its subjective impressions such as the background blur (bokeh).

Now we don’t want to reveal the full content of the review to you, but we’d like to highlight a few quotes that appear in the review:

"The Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro lens is an excellent manual focus macro lens with a useful focal length."

"Basically, for critical work, all apertures from f/2.8 to f/16 will produce very satisfactory results."

"The sample tested, using the 50mp Canon EOS 5DS R, balances perfectly with the camera body. The lens is described as fog, rain and snow sealed, which is always a bonus."

"A specialized lens to some degree, but it can be Highly Recommended."
